Welcome to the RHCC
Community Service Webpage!

Rolling Hills partners with local schools and a variety of community agencies to provide you with opportunities to serve in our community. These opportunities comprise our Service Initiatives, which are great for groups or individuals. Check the Service Opportunity Calendars link above for details.

Transitional Youth

Groups are needed to provide, prepare, and serve dinner at Transitional Youth on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 5-9 PM. Transitional Youth actively works to reduce Portland's youth homelessness by providing housing, outreach, and support. Contact Kathy Harms at 503-638-5900.

Be a Lunch Buddy at Bridgeport Elementary!  Change a child's life in an hour a week!  Lunch Buddies build positive, loving, adult relationships into the lives of children who need them.  It is a meaningful opportunity to show the love of Jesus Christ to a child.  A Lunch Buddy eats lunch and goes to recess with their buddy (a student they are matched with) once a week.  The day of the week is flexible, but it's best to do the same day of the week each week. To sign up please contact Kathy Harms, 503-638-5900, kathy.harms@rollinghills.org

Adopt a Food Program

Community Groups – consider adopting a food item for the Tualatin Food Pantry.
The pantry has staple food items that they need to be replaced on a monthly basis.  These include: Tuna Fish, Canned Corn, Canned Fruit, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Cereal (hot or cold), Hearty Soups with protein, Rice, Beans, Cooking Oil, Flour, Sugar, Pancake Mix & Syrup, Toilet paper, Soap, Shampoo, Laundry soap, Bus Passes (due to the high cost of fuel)

If you or your group would like to help please contact: Kathy Harms, 503-638-5900, kathy.harms@rollinghills.org
